
Dr. Anders has his degree in Counseling Psychology and focuses on working with underserved communities with a special focus on LGBTQIA+ folx. He has worked in a variety of settings including college counseling centers, an LGBTQIA+ counseling center, refugee counseling clinic, a rural telehealth clinic, and has offered ADHD, ASD and LD assessments in private practice. Dr. Anders’ clinical and research interests include multicultural processes and outcomes in psychotherapy, exploring intersections of identity, identity salience, and non-traditional means of accessing wellbeing. He has also has a special interest in applied role-playing game group therapy. Outside of professional interests, Dr. Anders enjoys writing and playing music, baking, backpacking/camping, and hiking with his pup, Sierra.
