I teach in both the BSW and MSW programs at Augsburg University. My background practice experience has focused on supporting women and children as they navigate challenges related to poverty, historic and/or current trauma, oppression, foster care, and parenting. Incorporating anti-racist and anti-oppressive strategies is key to this work, and supporting students to also develop important skills needed to work with vulnerable populations and communities is the focus of my teaching.
